LOL! I just thought of posting this photo while I was on my way to SMX Convention Centre (near Mall of Asia) where the Philippine Fashion Week was held.

I was in a pretty happy mood despite the traffic jam ahead of me.

Even had a “cheer me up” snack waiting for someone.

I needed some back up while doing this mini coverage of mine and this made it entirely relaxing and even more enjoyable for me. Btw, I went to Lord Stow’s Bakery in Mall of Asia for some iced coffee and cookies. Delish!!!

Meet my personal assistant for the remaining two days of Fashion Week, Athan.

He did everything for me. Take pictures, wait in queue and even push people aside when I am about to pass. Even better, he would stare people back whenever they stared at me, get me my drinks and reserve my seats. Love love love it!!!

What’s more important was I was able to just really sit back and enjoy the shows while all the dirty work was taken cared of. I got to meet some people, mostly because they are somewhere near my vicinity, despite me being shy.

YES, I AM SHY!!!

Oh, and just to save whatever dignity I have with the grossness of the photos I took from the previous day, I would like to blame the really bad seats I had. I was like in the back rows because I was a mere spectator but all of that is changed because of this plastic card…

HELL YEAH!!! From this moment on, I was throwing the I AM MEDIA card and get in first before most people and get special seats for the perfect view.

Before I forget, I would like to thank Runway Productions for the pass. I am very grateful and none of this would’ve been possible without u. Heartfelt gratitude.

I wanted to keep my look very casual for my second day at Philippine Fashion Week. I was wearing a suit the the day before and I wanted to keep it a little more fun this time. Besides, I have been talking about colour for the previous collections that I saw and it is just proper for me to walk the talk so to speak.

What I had on was a Folded & Hung top, a Jeffrey Rogador oversized track pants, Pedro shoes and my blue Louis Vuitton Riviera (which I actually gave to my mum so technically, I borrowed it). Oh and uber huge brooch that perfectly matched my top which I got from Malaysia.

I wanted to wear it a lot higher on the waist just to look a little different and to hide the huge belly that I have been sporting lately.

To contrast my casual look, I kept my sleek by brushing it up to show off my perfect face. A little James Dean, if u will.

Here is a shot that was taken of me when I was off guard (honest to god) using my Samsung Tablet when I was making a call. I just found this hilarious because this is how u talk to the person on the other line…

I sincerely enjoyed my second day in Fashion for a good reason.

Coming from the Oxygen Show earlier, I thought it would be a little blande for me to see more blacks. Don’t get me wrong I LURVE  black because it gives me all access to everything crazy but another full line of blacks and neutrals is a little too repetitive for me.

Coming into Marlon Rivera’s Holiday 2011 Collection felt like that at first, only because of the colours, but I was in for a surprise when I saw some colours towards the end. I was like revived back to sanity and the clothes totally got my attention. They spoke to me…and they said grab me while u can still see me on the runway.

Love the layers and the fit. Layering in a tropical country like the Philippines is next to impossible with the heat but how they are draped and the material seems light enough to let the skin breathe. Fashion should still be comfortable, noh?

And that’s it for the first day of my Philippine Fashion Week…which is actually the fifth day but I only got there that time.

This is the first men’s show that I saw and I was definitely excited. Men’s fashion is a little on the rigid side and playing around with it is a little bit difficult so I am really interested to see what is out there…boy was I glad to see this!!!

I also have that red jacker in a vest version. Very Michael Jackson circa 1980s.

This is my favourite piece. Purple extravaganza!!! Would love to wear green shoes with that and play the guess the vegetable game.

There a few women’s pieces but given my bad photography skills, this is the only clear one I got.

The crowd started screaming when these people came out so I am guessing they are celebrities. Sigh…now I know I have been gone from the Philippines far too long.

This is actually my favourite dress. I don’t know why I can’t get over my love for purple. The disease has been on for months now.

Theses clothes I can see being worn by brides/brides maid’s (did I spell that right?)/god parents/debutantes.

It is a little bit typecasted for my view but I lurve the use of colour, nonetheless.

Now that I’ve been eating like a prisoner on death sentence sans exercise, I think it is just time to bring them back.

Let me be inspired…or frustrated!!!

In the absence of my blogging mojo, I knew that I needed a change. I have no work and doing pretty much nothing and yet I never get the time to sit my fat ass on a seat and start dabbling on my blog so I knew I needed to change something…much like when u break with someone…I decided to change my hair.

Now before u think that I am having a very good time, don’t be deceived by the smile that I have on. I know it is quite convincing since u can only see these pearly whites in French paintings…classic!!!

Actually this is not the first hairstyle I did since I got back in the Philippines. When I got back, I shaved pretty much everything around my head leaving some on the top and long bangs. Gotta love my bangs. Turns out, so many people had it and u know me, never liked being a wallflower so I put my twist on it…with some curls.

Here I am waiting for it to set. It was horrible actually. The stink was unbearable and the longer the chemicals were on my head, the pain was emanating. It was like pouring acid on my scalp!

And just to ease my pain and whining, I had to get me some cool coffee.

A couple of hours later, when they took out the cap and curlers, I was shocked to see this!!!

It look like I was a poodle…or Medusa. I got a little bit nervous.

But everything turned out well. It was a little less Goldilocks-like when it was dried of and set.

Pretty good, noh? Actually, it has been a couple of week since I got my frocks curled and now it is more wavy than curly. Plus I noticed right after my treatment that some of my hair were scalded off when I touched it so it felt like I had a really bad carpet installation on my head…much like a bad bikini wax.

I love it anyway.

*insert universal gasp here*

I have to admit that this passed by me like a sale that I purposely avoided being the broke fool that I am.

A few weeks back, I have been reading tweets of fellow bloggers celebrating their blog anniversaries and I just had to check mine and apparently it was a week ago!!!

So to commemmorate my anniversary, I am giving away all my prized possessions such as my bags, houses and cars and this all u need to do is just follow me on twitter.

Yeah right!!! I can barely afford another bag so don’t even expect that I am giving away anything…not even a piece of gum!!!

Nevertheless I know that I need to shape up and get my blogging mojo back so here I am trying to make up for lost time.

Oh and that shot above is the very first photo I took since I got back here in the Philippines which was months ago so u can just imagine how long it has been.
