Missing My Family

Yeah! I got that from a box of McDonald’s Double McChicken Burger.

I am always mentioning my aunt and uncle in quite a number of my blogs being a Filipino away from home is quite difficult. The Philippines is such a fun place with all the different occasions to celebrate and gatherings.

For my birthday, my aunt and uncle are away on their vacation in the Philippines. It is a little sad to be spending birthday sans relatives but I am not letting it get to me.

I just miss spending time with them though. I remember this time when I practically forced my uncle to have lunch in McDonald’s since we haven’t eaten there in a while. It comes with age, u see. I cannot eat that much anymore so this once in a while craving needs to be served. Besides, I promised to treat them from the pay I got from doing this commercial a couple of months back.

My uncle had the Big Mac and my aunt who was on her own version of a diet had the McNuggets.

As for me, I had the Double McChicken. It was available for a limited time and if u ask me, it should be available forever. Isn’t that lovely?

One more thing that I love is ketchup. I had like three mini saucers of ketchup just to finish that burger.

And of course, I needed a little dessert. I had the Choco Sundae. Man, this brings me back to childhood. I used to beg for this from my grandpa.

That was a nice and sunny Friday. After filling up, we watched a movie and went for a very quick shopping.

Sigh!

Just reminiscing a little bit since they are away.

Fast forward to today…I am drowning my sorrows in cupcakes.

No worries. I will have my turn to leave and see family again.

First things first, get my plane ticket and I am outta here faster than I can say HAND ME ANOTHER CUPCAKE!!!
